students must be present on the first
day (orientation day). |

start on the next day of orientation

It is responsibility
of the student to arrange for makeup
on missed
classes, assignments and tests. |

According to PNC rules
the students must maintain his/her attendance
at the rate of 100% in clinical and
85% in classes. |

Withdrawal
/ Dismissal: |

Students
are advised to abide by the ethical and
professional standards as defined by the
Jinnah College of Nursing, Pakistan Nursing
Council Code of Conduct (Appendix II, in
student hand book) and International Council
of Nursing Codes for Nurses (Appendix III,
in student hand book). Documented infringements
of these codes can result in dismissal from
the college. |

In case of voluntarily leaving
the program, the fee will not be refunded
in any condition. |
Holiday
& Leave: |

each academic year, students are allowed to: |

Have Sick leave
up to 10 days per Semester subjected to Medical
Certificate. |
• |
Post Semester
Vacation: after each semester 15 days vacation
will be given to all students. |
• |
Those students
who do preparation or sit for exam other than
B.ScN exam will not be granted any leave. |

Clinical performance
and class achievements are carefully evaluated. |

The teaching
Instructor and clinical instructor conduct
meeting weekly. |

The coordinator
and concerned course faculty member will outline
the grading criteria for each course at the
beginning of every semester. |

The PNC rules
and regulations regarding degree programs
will be followed. |
