Jinnah College of Physical Therapy (JCPT) was established in 2018 at Shaheed-e-Millat road and started its first batch in 2019 with the affiliation of Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU).
It consists of highly qualified and passionate faculty to facilitate its students and prepare the competent & skilled physical therapists. The teaching focuses on holistic development of students which includes not only academics but also their clinical skills. It also inculcates a positive civic sense among students by promoting several social activities such as blood donation drives, sharing the materials to help the less fortunate people. JCPT also motivates its students to lead a healthy life by participating in extra-curricular activities including sports, debate competition, arts & culture and fun activities. It consists of well-equipped labs for diversified learning of concepts and practical. There is a student friendly environment at the campus that helps the students in learning new knowledge with great zeal to bring the patients back to optimal health.

Physical Therapy is a dynamic profession. DPT is a 5-year program focusing on treatment through assessment, management and rehabilitation of patient using various therapeutic measures.
Physical therapists are recognized by health-care professionals as the practitioners of choice with their role in diagnosis, prognosis, intervention & prevention of impairments, functional limitations, & disabilities related to movement, function & health.

The purpose of the DPT program is to prepare highly competent physical therapists who will:
Physical Therapists (PT) practice in clinical or hospital settings as well as provide home- based physical therapy services. They can pursue their higher education in MS/MPhil/PhD or pursue their career in clinical, academics (teaching) or research.
PT consult in specialized areas such as musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, integumentary, sports, geriatric, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecological physical therapy.
