Research is usually categorized as basic and applied in order to make a distinction between research that is carried out to enhance our knowledge, and to apply this pre-existing knowledge to real-world problems. Institutions are the highest seats for the creation and dissemination of knowledge. Therefore, it is imperative for them to be actively engaged in research in which knowledge is applied for the well-being of community, nation and humanity.

The Research Cell is composed of a dedicated team of professionals who contribute their expertise to support academic and scientific advancement. The Director of the Research Cell, Dr. Nasim Karim, provides overall leadership and strategic direction. Assisting in these efforts is the Assistant Director Research Cell, Dr. Naveed Ahsan, who plays a key role in coordinating research initiatives. The Co-ordinator, Dr. Bushra Kaleem, ensures smooth communication and organization within the cell. Data analysis and statistical support are managed by the Statistician, Dr. Quratulain Agha, while technical and operational tasks are efficiently handled by the Computer Operator, Ms. Sundus Faisal. Together, this team works collaboratively to enhance the quality and impact of research activities.
