Research is concerned with increasing our understanding and providing the information and knowledge required for problem solving and decision making. Research is usually categorized as basic and applied in order to make a distinction between research that is carried out to enhance our knowledge, and to apply this pre-existing knowledge to real-world problems. Institutions are the highest seats for the creation and dissemination of knowledge. Therefore, it is imperative for them to be actively engaged in research in which knowledge is applied for the well-being of community, nation and humanity.
Research Advisory Committee (RAC), Technical Review Committee (TRC), Ethical Review Committee (ERC) and Undergraduate Research Committee (UGRC) will facilitate the Director and Assistant Director Research Cell for smooth accomplishment of the tasks.
The working of TRC, ERC and UGRC will be evaluated by the Director, Assistant Director and RAC against their respective TORs on bi-annual basis. Whereas the working of RAC will be evaluated annually by the Director and Assistant Director of the Research Cell. Conversely, the Principal of the Institute will assess the services of the Director & Assistant Director of Research cell against the objectives of the Research cell on annual basis
