Medical & Dental institutions specially are expected to carry out their functions along three pillars that are (i) Education, (ii) Clinical Care and (iii) Research. The Research output, among other aspects, influences the brand, reputation and competitiveness of any institution. To create a focused research ecosystem and to abide the directives of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC), Karachi has established a Research cell in December 2025. The aim of the research cell is to facilitate the faculty, researchers and students in multidisciplinary and applied research in the form of capacity building, financial support and resources` provision.
